Baylor-Hamm Companies Completes Successful Upgrade from knk Software LP  As Finance Operations Moves to the Cloud

Baylor-Hamm Companies, comprised of the Best Western Plus Country Cupboard Inn, Country Inn & Suites, Lewisburg, Matty’s Sporthouse Grill and formerly Country Cupboard, Inc. Restaurant and Gift Shops, has recently upgraded from Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 on premise to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC) SaaS, a cloud financial management system. This move allowed the company to expand the efficiency, data agility, and ease of its back-end operations. With the upgrade, knk Software effectively modernized the user interface and streamlined the company’s general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions.  

 “Our goal was to remove the need for IT to maintain our hardware and ERP software, and instead allow Microsoft to fully service our system from the cloud,” said Robert Pierce, CFO of Baylor-Hamm Companies. “With the conversion to the latest version of BC SaaS, we were able to replace our aging NAV 4.0 server, and no longer need to worry about upgrades or servers. This allowed for increased security and access to capabilities that provided higher levels of efficiency which were not possible with our older system,” he added. “Our long-term relationship with knk helped make the process uncomplicated – we were confident in the smooth transition that knk was able to deliver.”
